The Ouachita Valley Dog Training Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1988. Today the club is AKC licensed and remains an organization to serve and educate the public. By providing obedience classes, educational opportunities and support of beneficial legislation, OVDTC is actively engaged in the responsible promotion of the welfare of purebred dogs. OVDTC promotes participation in all aspects of dog training including obedience competition, tracking, agility competition, and therapy work. Our belief is that all dogs, purebred and mixed breeds, can learn basic obedience and can become a better companion at home and in the community by using a consistent, positive method of training. The club exists through the time, effort and dedication of volunteer club members. To reserve a spot in an upcoming class, mail a non-refundable $10.00 deposit to OVDTC, P O Box 2432, West Monroe, LA 71291 and include your: Name: Phone Number: Address: Email Address: Dog’s Name: Age: Breed: Class for which you are registering (Including day and time)
You will be contacted one week before classes begin with information on what to bring the first night of class.
NOTE: Beginners Classes are often full a month or more in advance. We recommend you register early! |

MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE DUE BY MAY 1, 2011 ONE BENEFIT OF MAINTAINING MEMBERSHIP IN OVDTC IS RECEIVING A DISCOUNT ON CLASSES & SEMINARS.
If your first class with OVDTC started before January 1, 2010, you must pay dues in order to maintain your membership and current class fees.
OVDTC’s fiscal year is May 1 through April 30. Dues and agility field use fees apply to that time period and are due by May 1 of each year.
The classifications of membership are:
TRAINING— For those currently taking a class, those who have taken a class during the last 12 months OR those people who have kept there training membership dues current. NON VOTING—Those who have kept their dues and non voting status current. VOTING— Those who have kept their dues and voting member status current. DUES SCHEDULE TRAINING $10 NON VOTING $15 VOTING $20 AKC requires that we keep a current membership list.
